I use a Shark on my laminate floors and being out in the country, seems like I use it at least 3 times a week - although it could probably use it more at times. I think it works well but since bamboo is softer, I'm not sure about that part. I just know I couldn't live without my Shark. I would absolutely hate to pull my Rainbow out every other day but the dust and junk from outdoors drives me nuts. Good luck!
