tha t is how my KIrby ate when he was nnew to us( 16 weeks). I had a little place mat for him. and put the food right outside his bowl.....some times on the rim of the bowl too. Hi s bowl is ceramic and very shallow.Then after awhile most on the rim . Then I started putting it in the bowl too. IT happened again after he had been in the hospital for 4 days ...he was quite sick and and still recovering when he came home.
