Gracie Ruth had her 2 top canine pulled during her spay, and honestly it didn't seem to bother her at all. She'd been teething for a few weeks before her appointment and I had been cracking her kibble (putting some in a sandwich baggie and hitting it with a hammer - good for taking out any frustrations too! ) I just continued to crack her food for a few more days and then noticed she was eating Boo's uncracked kibble so I stopped and she been doing great ever since. Never any need for pain meds from either the spaying or the teeth extractions.

I really think they don't "feel" pain like we do. They don't seem to dwell on it so much. After 2 days she was up and running like nothing had happened and she was eating just fine. I'm sure your 2 will be a little drowsy for a day maybe two, but then they'll be right back in the thick of it.
