I agree with what you did and with all the comments posted. It's ridiculous that this woman thinks she can buy a puppy for her child like it's a new toy. And to be selling stuff and using money meant for food for the family is RIDICULOUS. I have been longing for a puppy for the longest time but have saved hard so that i have an account ready for emergencies as well as knowing that i am financially stable enough to afford to feed myself and my children too
I have two young children and several breeders I have spoken with wont sell a puppy to a family with children and I totally respect thier decision - I didnt start making demands down the phone or resorting to guilt trips! on a happier note we are going to be visiting a breeder soon who has young children herself and would love for me to bring my children to meet her puppies.Your decision can't be faulted - they are YOUR babies and YOU should decide where is the best home for them.
