I emailed the kids while Emma was still in surgery, just to let them know what was going on.... they were just gushing with gratitude and I feel that they sincerely care about this little girl and what was in her best interests when they placed her....

Emma has one brother... I did walk them through how to check for a cleft palate in the little boy and thankfully, he is all clear. They tell me that he has nearly doubled in his birth weight already and is thriving! YAY!

I will get photos, video, etc. to them tomorrow when I can see straight - since they did ask that I keep them updated.
