my yorkie will also taunt my large dog into doing that same behavior. licking can be a sign of dominance or submission but certainly not agression. if hes grwoling (a mean growl, not a play growl) it can be agressive, or if the dogs hackles go up, etc. there are plenty of signs of agression. i am not in your situation, so dont know everything, but from what you said, they are just playing. perhaps your yorkie isnt used to playing with bigger dogs (or you arent used to him playing with bigger dogs) and that is why you see it as a problem.

my money is they are just playing though, if your yorkie isnt having fun, you can always put a stop to it.

my sister also has a yorkie, and at first, would not let her yorkie (an 11lber) play with my large dog, but has realized he is friendly and they play just fine, most of the time (her dog can be vicious)
