hes not a person, you may think he knows, but he obviously doesnt. the word doesnt mean anything, to a dog who isnt trained no means nothing, its all in the tone.
if you say "no silly puppy thats wrong" nothing is going to happen.
if you take a deep, no nonsense tone, and just say "no" or even say "no" and clap or something (preferably some noise youve never done), he will stop.
then you redirect with a chew toy.
you can also spray stuff with bitter apple.
