Abby and I went to her 2nd obedience class tonight. She did much better tonight. There is another yorkie, collie, bull terrier, and several other large dogs. We worked on sit, down and heel - she has the sit, but doesn't like to do the down position on cement or linoleum, just does it on the carpet at home so I will have to work with her more. She did pretty good on heel and sitting at my left side when I come to a stop. We still have alot of work to do, but it is fun and gets us out together and her used to being around other dogs. As far as any tricks, (shake, roll over) she acts like she has no clue what I am trying to do! Our instructor is very good on gentle techniques and alot of praise - I really like her! She only charges $20 for the whole 5 week session. She just does the training classes because she loves dogs and helping people! Just wanted to share.
