Mascot is 10 mths old and he goes boating at the lake with us. He loves to swim but it took him time and coaxing from me in the water for him to jump in. I didn't just put him in the water, I let it be his decision. I got in the lake and kept calling him and he whinned and whimpered and finally jumped. He does however wear a life jacket, so this may make him more brave. He will swim from my raft to my kids rafts to my husband and when we are on the boat he like the wind running through his hair. He is a regular water dog!
