I like mine longer...to hit even past the tail.
Course, I think the ruffled harness vests are cute too at the shorter length.
With Mojo (for his harness vests), when he had long hair, I liked them longer because if they were short (like the normal vest), his hair would PUFF out and it didnt' look that nice. W/ his summer cute, I find that I really like the short vests!
