I don't know which risk is higher, giving her the rabies shot and something terrible happening or not giving her the shot and her contracting the disease. In reality which is more likely in the nice area I live?
I figured this forum would understand because we all have yorkies and know how sensitive they are.
My dog has a mild liver issue also and I am in the same boat.
It really isn't bad enough to ask for a waiver for us.
On the other hand, the insert in the rabies vaccines says, "For healthy animals only".

You could search online for reported rabies cases in your area.
It is best avoided if you can do that but you will be taking a slight risk.
I personally would take the risk if I had that choice.
Something else to take into consideration, do you have a bat or rodent problem? You don't have to answer that.
