My dogs have their names on their collars with my home phone numbers..
and that exact thing happen to me...my dog took off on my dog walker and we were all out looking for him..he had been found and the person had called my house and left a message of course no one was there to get the message...
Luckily she called the police who contacted the ranger who was helping us...
One of my dogs tags says needs meds...he is my MVD dog and hope that if he was ever missing they would return him...because of that...but you never know...
