I don't eat meat either - bc of slaughterhouses and the cruelties that transpire there. I ache for the creatures whose lives end in those places.

I think though, what is worse about "dog meat" is that - if you untied one of those dogs - it would likely go up to one of its captors and STILL offer to be its best friend, because that's the nature of a dog (even captured dogs). Whereas with cows, chickens - we are, at least, one step removed from the standpoint of exchanged affection. But dogs? I just don't know how they could tie up a creature who is, for all intents and purposes, a creature of affection and bonding and capable of a very overt relationship.
