I've always have very very low blood sugar. I've had fainting spells my whole life, starting when I was 6 years old and I passed out on stage at my school's Christmas concert! Talk about embarassing for a little girl who was too shy to even speak in front of a teacher!
Anyways, nobody ever really did anything about it. I didn't really see doctors at all. When I was in college I passed out in a Chemistry lab and they had to call 911 and I got taken to a hospital by ambulance. After 4 hours in the waiting room I had a doctor look at me for 5 minutes and ask if I have an eating disorder (nope) and told me I just need to eat more

So I went and saw another doctor who told me I have a touchy system and as soon as something is a little out of the ordinary (standing too long, just a little too hot, too nervous, blood sugar too low) my brain doesn't know what to do so it just shuts down, my blood pressure plummets, and I'm out!
So that's my story. I don't really do much for it. My aunt who is a nurse told me to eat a bunch of small meals throughout the day, so I usually keep my purse stashed with granola bars.
