What if your cell phone dies? If you have another one in the house, great. If not, you could be SOL. I can't get rid of my home line entirely because it is needed for my security system and DSL Internet. I have cut the service down to the bare minimum, got rid of voicemail etc. and just forward it to my cell. That saved me a bunch.
