we used to give him treats when he did RIGHT, but we havent used treats in a while....... he is still obssessed with the word "cherrio" and if we say it he will come running.....lol
But no, if he does it wrong...... i say no and correct him, then praise....... my fiance just ignores him if he does wrong......
i feel that it is his own fault, if he woudl dedicate more time to LEARN how to train toby himself (properly) he would have much more success and respect from toby.
i think toby still opperates under the assumption that the hierarchy goes: mama, TOBY, daddy, kitty/chewtoy.
hes a good boy though, we let him off leash in the woods and he came back, so hes not disobediant per say, he just likes to cut corners when he can get away with it |
