If you follow your heart you can't really go wrong. House training a year old female yorkie is a challenge however not impossible. Both my male and female rescues were 3 yrs old when I took them and had never even been paper trained. The male took a couple of days, the female a few weeks. My new pup, 5 months today, was trained in two weeks. I do not use peepee pads, paper, exercise pens, crates or doggy doors. They are trained to go outside. It take patience and absolute total dedication 24/7 for the first couple of weeks.

I've had upwards of four at a time, two is a piece of cake, three becomes challenging if you intend to take them all for walks in the park etc. We travel alot and three is definitely more work than two.

There is also the cost factor to be considered. Three vet bills, three grooming bills. As long as you are prepared to provide all of that then it should be ok. Having two males will pose a challenge until they sort who's going to be the boss.

Good luck and if I can be of any help please feel free to ask.
