It is probably allergies. I would make a vet appoinment and they will give him a shot to relieve it. Jersey just got her shot today. She was scratching a lot too. Check his ears too. Allergies tend to cause a build up of dark wax. I would def. take him to a vet. He needs to be seen and treated. Elaine
