 he came back
i have to admit that their is No training like just letting them off the leash and letting them romp like DOGS and then come back when you call.
We went camping up in the big sur area in california and toby has NEVER been let off leash..... we did it this time to see what he would do ... i have always had a fear that he would take off but he did WONDERFULLY! He came when he was called, when we were "hiking" up the river he even stopped and looked back to wait for me to climb over a log (with a frustrated look, like he was saying "HURRY UP"..lol)..... he happens to be a WONDERFUL swimmer, he loved going swimming in the river .... it was awesome, but i think he is glad to be a "house dog" again.... i dont like cuddling with dirty "camp dogs".....lol |
