I have a 2 year old yorkie. I got her a couple of months ago, when she was pregnant. She was really good (still is) every night she would sleep in her crate no problem. Then she had her puppies, I moved her to the bathroom in the whelping box in no time she started jumping the gate and sleeping under the bed. The puppies are now going to be 5 weeks old & she spends no time with them. Last friday I started putting her in her crate, she did good friday night and saturday night, a little crying but a few minutes later she was fine. Then Sunday night and last night, were bad. She cried all night long and manage to open the door to the crate. I put a small lock on it, but she cried all night. Any advice? And is it possible to re-train a dog of this age? Please help any advice I'm open to it.
