it is scary having your baby have surgery. i agree w/ another poster, that it's harder on us! our vet uses the gas anesthesia (p-something) much safer. also have pre-op blood work. it'll show if anything doesn't look right & your vet will wait on the surgery & address any health issues that were discovered. your little ones could possibly have health/dental problems if the baby teeth aren't removed. i understand your nervousness- cali was recently spayed, microchipped & baby teeth pulled (14!! ). she's 6 mths & 3.1 lbs & was chasing after her big sister w/ in a couple of days after surgery.
talk to your vet about your concerns. a good doctor (& staff) has open communication & is there to help you though these things. good luck!
