I don't think people are trying to be rude (well at least most), I think they just really don't know or understand the different breeds. Before I got interested in yorkies I would have never known the difference because I had never researched it. I agree with previous posters that all you can do is take it as an opprotunity to explain the difference beteen yorkies and a breed they might have mistaken your baby for. I don't know why some would be rude and insist your yorkie is something other then what you say (it takes all kinds to make the world go round I suppose). I just shrug and go on about my way. |
