It DOES WORK and it's so much safer than any dip. We were using frontline - switched and no fleas anymore - I don't know if alternating helps but my girls finally stopped scratching.....I never had to deal with them before so this is all new to me - but man - even if you don't SEE a flea - and they're scratching - chances are they are THERE. In the 2-1/2 months of knowing my girls may have them - I only saw ONE adult - and one baby- both dead after a Dawn Dish soap bath.
