Default My Yorkie has a fracture..any advice would be welcomed

Hello, I am new to this site and I am so glad that I found it! My 5mo old baby Dallas jumped out of my arms because he got so excited when he saw me pick up the leash. When he fell to the floor he yelped & howled like I have never heard him do before. I took him to the my vet ($200) for xrays ( he has 2 fractures in his hind leg), medicine, office visit & (because the doctor wasn't sure about the xray, she had to sent it out to a specialist $77). I called the specialist and it's $140 just for the office visit so I can imagine what the surgery will cost! Although the vet did give me a copy of the xray's, I'm sure I will not be able to afford the surgery. But I can't stand to see him hopping around on 3 legs, although he still is very active and still plays with his sister Roxi. Do you think he will heal properly if I can't afford the surgery? Should his leg be wrapped in a splint or something? Please help, I am so worried.
