I use one with a little water in it.. for an outside ash tray.. We don't smoke but some of our friends do.. It keeps butts from misteriously appearing on the ground when we have people over. I would hate for one of my babies to pick up a cigarette butt. Yeck!!

I also use them to store things in.. in the garage. I label tem. Also for out on the picnic table for a Napkin Holder.. They don't blow away in the wind. Also for Plastic forks, etc.
