Did you get a 2nd opinion or are you quite confident in your vet? Did you have his knees looked at by an orthopedic surgeon and have his knees graded?
My Wylie has LP, but is not at a grade to warrant surgery - so we're hoping Cosequin will help repair/prevent/delay his need for surgery.
