I had Duke neutered later rather than sooner, and he will still mark spots if he smells an animal that he's not used to. He wont do it in others houses if they don't have pets, and he doesn't do it at my parents even with the cats. But if I take him to someone's house and they have pets, he will pee, he also tries to do it still if I take him to petsmart.
