Hi there and welcome to YT . I am sorry your baby was hurt . The smaller they are the easier they can have accidents. These tiny ones do not know danger, and are quite the daredevils.
I am glad Teddy will be ok. You have done everything right. I do not feel like you have to crate him all day, however you are going to need to observe him closer . The problem is that if he jumps off anything high again while healing he could end up breaking his leg or fracturing it. If it is too hard to constantly supervise him then by all means place him in his crate. There are good expens or playpens you may want to invest in. He would be safer confined in a bigger area.
