All of the warnings against breeding a small girl to a much larger male are being made in vain?
I would not breed a yorkie over standard so no I would not mate a 15 lb dog to a 5 lb female. That said, while working in a clinic a 12 lb yorkie was accidentally bred to the neighbors 40-45 lb terrier mix. We monitored her pregnancy closely as the vet I was working for thought they would get too large. Well they didn't...she free whelped 3 full term puppies. The owner of the yorkie kept one and she grew up to be a 35 lb dog. So no I do not think it would endanger the female. In my experience larger females whelp larger puppies compared to smaller females...no matter the weight of the stud used.
