Max's hair loss does not look like some kind of hot spot or skin problem due to mites. If so, it will be either red or patchy. It's just kind of gone and bold. There is no scar or redness. The skin kind of looks patchy b/c it's got a little white spots.
It is a size of a nickle I think. I am hoping that he pulled it out himself and it will grow back. He seems to play well and eat well. I am going to give it another couple of days b/f I take him to the doctor. |
I've never seen ringworm but if I were you I would take him in - I wonder if his hair cells could die if this doesn't get treated... whatever it is - I'm no doctor but this sounds like something treatable and for your peace of mind - I would let a vet check him out soon...Good LUCK !
