It has been a couple weeks and we can't find her owner. After she lost her mal-nutritioned look, it became apperant she was very pregnant. Now, I personally don't believe in doing this to such a little dog, but the damage has been done, and she is too pregnant to abort the babies. Can someone please give me some advise as to the specific diet I should have her on, or help me find out when she will have the babies. Also, I could use some information on how I can help her with her delivery. I really want to cry for her she is very uncomfortable. The babies looked like they were on her side. A couple days ago, the pups apeared to have "dropped" and she seems to be producing milk now. I can feel the puppies move. Please help, but don't judge me, if it were me, I would have spayed her before this happened. I have an eight year old retriever I had spayed when she was 5 months old because I believe there are too many dogs already without homes. I know this because I volunteer for the Humane Society in my area. Thank you to all who help. | Did you take her to the VET?? Maybe the vet at the Humane Society could take a look. I think you may need professional help! |
