have just read this thread - its heartbreakingly sad

and i agree with all who have said that the puppy shouldnt have been euthanised before a full investigation was carried out) in cases like this it seems that the thinking is - destroy dog, problem solved. there was something similar a while back here in the UK and all the newspaper headlines screamed: DEVIL DOGIMO there is no such thing as a 'bad dog' only a bad owner - and in this case bad parents (and grandparents)
