Make sure you do check to see if you are feeding him the correct amount. They are usually around 1/4 cup that isn't much. And I would say you need to teach him to walk after eating for that evening meal so that you do get him on a different schedule. That really makes a difference than play. I know its still excerise but its like more focused and they walk and will go and hopefully you won't get all that night poo. Also if he isn't fond of the leash and walking make sure you take a great treat to coax him into walking. Good luck I hope this all works out for you.
