At one time Science diet was considered the premier of dog foods, and it was better than most foods available. Most dog foods were very high fat, and marketed more so they appealed to humans than dogs. Huge amount of food coloring was used to get hamburger and cheeseburger looking foods. I remember liking Science Diet because it was the only dog food you could buy without food coloring. Today, there are many other foods that are considered better than Science Diet, and not too many people here will recommend it anymore. |
