I used to work in the boutique at a dog boutique/grooming salon here. I watched the groomers groom Lacy a couple times and learned how to do it myself. I don't cut their hair because I like for it to be long. What I do is shave the tips of the ears, shave the paw pads, trim around the paws, shave their sanitary areas (butt and genitals), and shave my males belly/lower chest. I have trimmed up their hair a little with scissors to even up but we don't do any major cuts....just maintenance.
