Dear Shirlblack,
So sorry this happened. Prayers too for his family and loved ones.
On my way to my Dr. apt. friday, was in the right turning lane, the driver in front of us was trying to beat the light he got around the corner and over turned his vehicle, laying on the drivers side, here we was like 25 feet behind him, were pinned in from cars all around us a man busted the passenger window out of the vehicle which had already burst into flames, out jumped a big pit bull, I was so busy watching the pit bull (it ran and calmly sat directly on the side walk) I didn't see the man jump out of the vehicle. He was intoxicated, cuffed and put into the sherriffs back seat. Thankfully there was no one else in the vehicle. Thankfull no one else was involved. We was so fearful it was going to explode, could even smell the rubber on the tires burning, the fire department was amazing. Firemen and Sherriffs sure have a very risky job, many thanks to them for all they do.
Needless to say since we was rear ended in January, this happening, I didn't keep my Dr. appointment I just wanted to get back home. Back home I came.
Hugs, Patti and Jack |
