Default Now that you've met my yorkie.....

(see "Yorkie or Silky" thread).....I have a question. While my dogs seem to be crazy about him and he loves to play with Toby, he has this habit of biting at their ankles. I guess that's to get them to play.

Well, Skipper (pom, spitz mix) is older and doesn't like playing as much as Toby, and he has started just sitting down on his head when he nips his back ankles. It's so funny watching him trying to get his head from under Skippers VERY hairy butt.

He occasionally bites at my ankles as well, but he doesn't bite hard. And my cat has let him know that she will absolutely NOT tolerate ankle biting.

Even though he does'n't bite hard, I suppose this is a habit I need to break him of. Any suggestions? Since he has been abused, I certainly don't want to do anything to scare him, since he's now settled in here.

Edited to add that he's been with me about a month, was with my mom a couple weeks before that.
