Right now the xpen is about 2 feet X4 feet. So she has space to get out of the box and go to a pee pad area. I often find her right next to the basket just resting. She is not letting him nurse every few hours as he should be. So I have been supplementing half of the day.But Lucky turns 4 weeks old tomorrow so he's suppose to start getting weaned off his mommy...
If you notice your puppies not gaining enough ,I would get some Esbilac formula or you can get Goat's milk. I'm not sure if they are old enough to be getting a mixture of baby Gerber chicken mixed with ground up puppy food.

I'm so sorry you are going through this because I know how much we worry over this since the puppies are still so small. I still worry and Lucky is already 1 lb 8 oz! I still wake up at least 3 times a night just to check on him because I often find him out of the whelp basket sleeping on the pee pad!
It is amazing to see a 4 wk old crawling out of the basket to get to the pee pad to pee or poop!
Get the puppies and mom confined to a smaller area,if you have a playpen or Xpen, even better.
