I checked out the website, and it shows pads underneath of the turf, are you using those? or does the pee pee just collect in the pan? How does the turf handle poo-poos? The website says the turf is 1 3/4' tall, is it soft? or is it kind of stiff? does it bother their little hineys?
I too have been looking for something a little different, mostly because Nappy is a little leg-lifter and is always aiming at the side of the box and it gets under the pads, grrrrrrr. Cleaning the box every day is getting old, hahaha. And they have a FIRE HYDRANT!!! Just what he needs, lol.
Thanks so much for posting about this, I think Paisley, Pia and Trixie may have just sold me on it |
We seriously love it.

I was actually shocked on how fast they took to it. I expected a few accidents and I did have one from Paisley. It scared her at first but now she's fine with it. They sent some free pads with it and that's what I'm using right now. However, even with three girls not much pee makes it to the pad. Most of it stays in the turf at the bottom. You could use washable pads, newspaper or whatever to put on the tray. I have so many washable pads, so I'll use them after I'm done with these others.
The grass is very soft. It doesn't bother them at all. I've actually had to take Snootie off the thing a few times. He likes sitting there.

When they go poopy, its no differen't then anything else. You just pick it up.

If one of them were sick and had the ugly D., then that might be a pain but I'd probably stick a pad on top if that was going on.
They do offer a fence for one side only. It might work great for Nappy or you could make one like I did to go around it more. We really love it and I'm so happy I don't have to clean this thing 24/7.
