He is now in his crate while I am trying to figure out what I need to do to make this sudden change in him go away. Any suggestions?
I'm having the same issues with Franklin although they are more behavioral problems instead of potty training. Everyone says these are the "adolescent" months of a dogs life. You will see a regression in training and the dog will basically act out and push it's boundaries. People compare it to the teenage years. Hopefully it'll pass soon! To save your sanity, I'd suggest getting some belly bands to prevent stains on your carpet.

Out of curiosity.. is he neutered?
