| Hyperactivity....ugh.
Hi everyone! I am a new member today, and I am a proud mom of Mason, a 7-month old boy yorkie.
He is absolutely precious and he is my whole world, but he is soooooo active and rambunctious!!! As soon as I get home from work, he is ready to play and when I am too busy to give him attention, he starts barking excessively. His favorite play is fetch, and he wants me to throw his Kong ball for hours!! If I get tired and stop throwing, he will go hide his Kong in my shoes and he will bark at it until I get up and go get it. This puppy does not give me a break! this is daily, mind you.
When I am just sitting around, he can NEVER sit still on my lap.
Will his energy eventually go away? I am wondering if this is his personality (which is permanent), or his young age (which is temporary). Please help! |
