I agree, there is no reason not to neuter if not used for breeding. However, if she chooses not to neuter, and he is "knotting" during his dream, it will go back in on it's own in a matter of minutes. The only time she needs to worry about it out, is when it is swollen at the tip, I call "cherried" because it looks red and swollen. That's the time you worry about it going back in, and have to KY jelly it and gently work the skin over it. Showering does not help, and could be dangerous in the cherried situation, and not necessary in the normal situation.
Neither my breeding males or my neutered males have wet dreams that is a new one on me.
