Our Yorkie also want to carry her puppies around. We bought a pen and put it around the whelping box. We could let her in and out, but I think it made her feel more secure that no one could get to her puppies. Also we put the puppies in a crate with a top on it. The first few weeks, she did not like anyone even looking at her puppies. This also made her fee secure. She may be looking a new place where she feels that her puppies are safer. |
