Hmm, you got me wondering since I can't imagine modern doctors taking that oath today. After looking around a bit it appears that very few take the original oath although all take some form of oath. There is a "modern version" of the hippocratic oath floating around although AMA says it did not originate from them. I'm not sure why the 'never do harm to anyone' is in bold (although we all sure hope that's how doctors feel), but in the modern version that isn't even included. Can anyone in the medical profession clear this up?
