YorkieRose, I agree with you. I don't want my babies to end up in puppy mills either. And like you said, there are bad owners out there. That is why in my contracts I put the "If you can not longer care for your pup please allow me first option to buy the pup back." I have seen where someone took a yorkie to the pound because it grew to 8 lbs. What if someone took one of my babies to the pound because they couldn't potty train it or something. I usually don't limit my registrations but I am kinda afraid not to.
My first two pups I sold went to reallly good girls, we keep in touch, (OH & AL) I cried so much worrying about them that my husband offered to fly to OH & AL and pay the people their money back and a little extra for thier troubles. But we both knew they needed to be where they could be spoiled individually. Both girls have told me they have spent a fortune in accessories and clothes for their new babies and they send me pictures. I could not have asked for better homes. As you can see I am really concered where my babies will end up as most breeders are. Thanks for the information. It has been a great help.
