To prevent anyone who has a pet store puppy from being offended ...when I said Pet store buyers support mills - I know many many people don't realize where 98% of Pet Stores get their puppies. So since this whole thread is about a Pet Store - for anyone who doesn't know - do your research ! Most all Pet Stores will 'say' they buy from local breeders....
Just type in 'Petland' or 'Pet Stores' in a search... and you'll see what a huge business this is. They can call themselves anything they want ...but 'Pet Stores' around the country are the Puppy Mills biggest customers.
