| This is a bit silly.......... but .........
I know a little about the "barking" that you are talking about. There are times when we are home, my little Shelby decides that there is something to bark about. She will run around the house and bark her head off.
The way I look at, she is trying to tell us something. So....... I pick her up and say "What do you see".. and carry her around the house trying to find out what is so exciting. Once I figure out what the big deal is (which is usually by looking out the front door ...we have full glass in the front so she can see out), I acknowledge that I see what she is barking at and say "Thanks for telling me about the lady jogger" . Once she has gotten my attention, she is happy. (which is why she was barking in the first place) This works about 90% of the time.
