You want my opinion on this? I could not do it.
As most know here I work with retired racers (greyhounds) and I have what is called a "six hole hauler". Its a trailer with six "crates" so I can take all the dogs on the road and they have their own spot. (air and heat)

I have had this for about 2.5 years and REFUSE to use it. I could not relax going on a trip and worrying about the animals that I can not see and hear. And remember that Greys are used to traveling this way.

My thinking is that if it is illegal to ride in a camper (humans) because of the danger if something were to go wrong, why would I risk my animals in one. They ALL ride with me in a HUGE SUV so they can be comfortable. We have even taken 2 cars on vacation so the animals have room to ride with me and DH followed with the rest of the party in his truck.
