Jay has started putting his leg down tonight to walk. He only does when he is walking, anything faster and it goes up, however, now that it is going down a bit I'm a bit less anxious.
I was told to keep his energy down the first week to let things heal then start physical therapy and let him play as much as he feels comfortable. He has tried playing with our older Yorkie, but we've kept his activity minimal to let things heal this first week.
This Thursday (1 week) we will start taking him on walks and moving and stretching his leg as well as some swimming.
Hopefully there will be a lot of improvement shortly. |
