Default Just brought a doggie into Canada

Hi there,

Exactly a week ago I brought a YT into Canada. He was brought on the flight, in-cabin, with Continental Airlines. Canada Customs required a current rabies certificate (within the year) and also looked at a certificate of health from a vet in the states. The Certificate of Health was done within 2 weeks of the flight. We were not travelling, my puppy was coming here to live so I also needed to declare him - that won't be the case for you. Continental also required the certificate of health. (When I called Customs they did not tell me that I needed a certificate of health, but the rescue organization got one for us anyhow. Thank goodness they did because the airline required it and customs wanted to see it too)

That was all... if you have any questions at all, I would be happy to chat. It is all still so fresh. I can't belive it was already a week ago!
